As you’ve probably also noticed, I am fascinated with the wonders of nature. I love the outdoors, and photographing and painting what I see is one of my great outlets in life.
In my professional career, I apply that same passion into every project and challenge. I love the creative process, and finding fresh ways to convey a message or brand. It’s that inspiration that also keeps me motivated to constantly reinvent myself, and learn new technologies and trends.
Over the years I’ve developed an expertise in all aspects of corporate graphic communications. I’ve won multiple awards for my creative illustration, animation and design. My experience includes web design, brochures, direct mail and large format displays, video, UX Design, HMI Design, and all forms of illustration.
Marketing Communications
I’ve developed award-winning branding campaigns for several Fortune 500 Corporations including: General Electric (GE Energy, GE Plastics, GE Research Center, GE Center of Excellence), SABIC Industries, Raytheon, Celanese, Owens Corning and Tyco.
I’ve also created marketing campaigns and branding strategies for several smaller and mid-sized corporations such as: Price Chopper Supermakets, Educational Vistas, Adirondack Wild and Glens Falls National Bank.
Branding and marketing campaigns for several colleges and universities includes: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Siena College, Union College and Schenectady County Community College.
Website Design
My experience in web design and development encompasses a broad client base – everything from small business to large corporate websites including Fortune 500 Corporations such as GE and Celanese.
Corporate branding and development of guidelines are incorporated into all of the websites – including logo standards, colors, fonts and photography usage. I also incorporate the latest css and html5 standards, (SEO) and mobile-friendly technology into every website.
Video Animation
Statistics show that video is fast becoming one of the most influencial and memorable mediums used in marketing. It’s impact – especially for millenials – is often the deciding factor in the purchase of a product or service.
I’ve developed video animation of the Pink Panther (for a nationally televised marketing campaign), as well as local tv advertisements, tradeshow animations, and corporate communications (for internal and external audiences).
Illustration
As an illustrator, Ive created artwork for everything from children’s books to detailed technical illustrations. I also have experience in cartooning (including animation), and several accolades for my wildlife paintings and illustrations.
I enjoy working in traditional mediums such as paints, colored pencils, charcoal and pen & ink, as well as electronic mediums with the Adobe Creative Suite of software. My styles range from cartoon to technical illustration, to photo-realism – and beyond.
Versatility is my greatest asset – I can not only lead a creative team, but also possess the skills to implement all aspects of the process. Not only a team leader, but a team player – having worked with some of the most successful creative minds in the business has helped me to learn, adapt and grow with the latests trends and technology!
